Hey December is here and Christmas is right around the corner, I can’t wait! Hopefully I’ll get a big bone or a box of treats! My mom has the store filled with lots of great gifts! Who doesn’t love a great tasting bottle of wine or liquor under the tree? I’d even like to slurp some, but mom won’t let me! Darn! She has a terrific selection of gift sets ready to wrap! Speaking of wrapping, the team at Granny’s will gift wrap free of charge this month! I can help hold the tape, but it might not look as pretty!! We are so grateful for your patronage and shopping local and coming to see me! I appreciate any treats!  Granny’s is open 7 days a week, We’re open Christmas eve until 4pm and closed Christmas Day! Can you believe it’s almost Thanksgiving? Wow, it’s been such an amazing fall! I hope you’ve all had a chance to take in the smells of the season. I love to hear the crunch of the leaves when I’m chasing squirrels!

My mom and her fabulous team have been preparing for Magic of Lanesboro-Norwegian memories happening this Saturday, November 27th! She and my Grandpa, Duane are going to be rolling lefse and Matt from Phillips will be sampling Minnesota Spirits! Also, Brian from Sugar Creek Winery in Fountain, MN Will be sampling as well! This all happens from 12 to 3pm. I’m looking forward to any spills that may occur as I love lefse!! But, really I love most human food!

Granny’s is collecting food for the Fillmore County Food Shelf, so be sure to drop something off and be entered in our store giveaway!

Whew, it’s been a while since I’ve chatted with you! Well, my identical twin brothers decided to get married three weeks apart so it’s been a little busy! My brother, Colin and his beautiful bride got married on our farm Septmeber 18^th, so mom has been super busy getting everything done and guess what she got it done! It was an absolute perfect day as the ceremony was in our front yard and the reception/dance was in the barn! It looked amazing! Chase married his beautiful bride, Kirsten October 9^th at Winnebago Springs near Caledonia! I heard the venue was absolutely stunning and everyone had a blast, but I personally wouldn’t know as I didn’t get to go! Pout Pout.

So now that you know what we’ve been up too it’s onto what’s been happening at Granny’s! It’s been a great fall, Lanesboro is so pretty surrounded by all the beautiful bluffs. We have a great selection of fall brews, pumpkin liqueurs and new wines! It’s crazy all the new stuff they keep coming out with! I have to stay out of the way because there is so many boxes always coming in! It’s like Christmas everyday at Granny’s! Speaking of Christmas, time to think of giving an awesome gift from Granny’s! Hey since my last writing I turned 6 (that is 42 in human years) and my mom, well I’m not going to share her age-I still wants treats, but she had a birthday too! July was a great month and now we have Buffalo Bill Days this weekend, August 5-8^th in Lanesboro!  Join us for Sip & Savor on Thursday, August 5th from 6-9pm in the Brat & Beverage tent. 19 vendors with over 75 tastings, live music, food, door prizes and lots of fun! Presale tickets are available at Granny’s and if you attend the event my mom will give you a discount! Pretty good deal huh? Look for me and my family in Sunday’s parade, we’re celebrating Sunday Funday and you know we always like to have fun!! Father’s Day is Sunday, June 20^th and we have lots of ideas to give to our dear dads! If you’re lucky like me, and have the best dad you want to give him something special! We have a great selection of bourbon, whiskey, tequila, brandy and vodka. Grumpy Gramps beer cave is stocked full of delicious craft beers and of course all the flavors of domestic beer. Our humidor is filled as well with tasty treats! My dad gives me lots of treats and takes me on gator rides and of course pickup rides, which are my favorite. There are a lot of kiddos graduating this time of year and Granny’s Liquor is so proud of all our area graduates! I want to give a woof out to the graduates and wish them all the best in their future endeavors! Hey did you know we’re celebrating 6 years of business? Crazy! I came to be the store mascot just a few months after Granny’s opened. On Friday, May 7^th from 3-6pm we’re having a party, come celebrate with us! We are so excited and are filled with gratitude for all your support.
