Were you in Lanesboro this past weekend? It was Fall Boutique & Business Crawl and Fall Craft & Beer Fest! Whew! It was crazy fun with tons of people visiting our beautiful area. We tasted some awesome Fall Brews by Humble Forager, Rochester, MN. We also tasted Fall Liqueurs and wine. If you’re interested in Fall Brews you better get in quick, they are selling fast! My mom carries Oktoberfest beers from: Sierra Nevada, Leine’s, Surly, Indeed, SXSE, Paulaner,  just to name a few. Fall liqueurs are arriving as well: Bailey’s Chocolate, Pennsylvania Dutch Salted Caramel, Mother’s Pumpkin Spice. New wine by St. Francis and new liquor: Bird Dog Smore Whiskey and Dough Ball Birthday Cake Whiskey. It’s so fun to work with my mom everyday and watch all the sales rep and delivery guys bring in new items and some good ole’ ones too! Can you believe it’s soon Fall? I hope you had a great Summer and were able to enjoy it! I like to sun bathe, play in the pond and take long afternoon naps! Don’t ask about walks….my mom likes to drag me along, but I try to get out of them as much as possible. We’re getting ready for Fall at Granny’s. Oktoberfest Beer is arriving every week and it’s so good! We have Leines, Schell’s Sierra Nevada and Surly varieties to name a few. Stop on in and pick up a cool six pack to enjoy. Hey did you know it was my Birthday last week! I turned 8! I look dang good for being 56 years old!! My parents, friends and great customers of Granny’s spoiled me rotten!! I received so many great treats. Thank you Everyone! I got a secret too. My mom has a Big Birthday coming up this week and it’s not 50, so guess how old she is! Tee Hee!! She’ll be celebrating for the rest of the month because that’s the way she rolls!!🎂 Stop by and wish her a Happy One!

Next weekend is already Buffalo Bill Days-where has summer gone? Granny’s will have Mike from Four Daughter’s Winery and Spirits sampling their new release of bourbon. Stop by and try it! I hear it’s really good. Of course, I don’t get to try it. Mom says no. Look for Granny’s in the parade. Mom has lots of fun stuff she’s handing out and of course I’ll be wagging my tail for you!😄

Can it already be 4^th of July weekend? It’s one of my favorite times of the year; people are eating and drinking outside, which means lots of treats for me!! Not everyone gets all their food in their mouth so it is my job to clean up!

Granny’s is open all weekend and even on the 4^th from 10am to 6pm! “Never fear, Granny’s is here!” We have lots of fun new seltzers, ready to drink cocktails and new flavors of liquor and beer. It’s crazy all the new stuff that keeps coming out, but Mom seems to keep up with it! She is always taking requests to, so if you want something we don’t have in stock, she’ll sure try to get it!

I’m getting a haircut today, my summer cut! Looking forward to that as this longer fur gets a little hot!! Stop by Granny’s and check me out and of course I’ll be waiting to be petted!

It’s Rhubarb Festival this Saturday, June 3^rd. Kinney Creek Brewery from Rochester will be here tasting Med City Seltzers from 12 to 3pm. My mom says they are one of the Best Tasting Seltzers around. I wouldn’t know, I’ve never tried them. 😅

We will also be tasting Molly’s Winery, LaCrescent, MN-rhubarb flavored wines. Be sure to stop by. I’ll be looking forward to head pats! Ruff Ruff! 🐾

Happy May! The flowers are blooming and it’s warming up! I love to run in the fresh mowed grass, especially if there is dew, my paws turn green! Mom doesn’t love it so much!🐾

We just celebrated eight years at Granny’s yesterday-May 7^th! Crazy how time flies, especially when you’re having fun! We had a fun celebration and Mom made her yummy chocolate chip cookies to share! Oh, so good!!😀 Thank you to all of you who support and patronage Granny’s! Next weekend is the Boutique and Business Crawl. Sylvan Brewery from Lanesboro will be tasting for us from 12 to 3pm and we have a couple of new items we’ll be tasting as well. Are you Hopping into Granny’s to get all your treats to fill your Easter baskets? I’m not really interested in all those kind of treats as I know I will get a tummy ache from eating that human food! I hope my mom fills my Easter basket with lots of doggy treats.

Are you Irish? Well, I’m not, however my mom is. It originates from her mom’s side of the family. Her mother’s maiden name was Moran-very Irish. So, I am going to pretend I’m Irish and dance like a Leprechaun all week long! Come into Granny’s and see me if you don’t believe me!!😅

Along with that, Granny’s has so many great Irish beers, whiskeys, and liqueurs! SXSE Brewery from Pine Island, MN just released their Craig Irish Red-so yummy. Left Hand Brewery has a Nitro Irish Stout, you need to give it a try! If beer isn’t your gig, we have lots of Irish Whiskey’s. The favorite at Granny’s is Shanky’s Whip. It is a smooth black Irish whiskey with notes of caramel and vanilla, Great sipper! Another favorite is 2 Gingers Irish whiskey-so tasty! How about a liqueur, we have many wonderful sippers or add them to your coffee for a fun twist!

Harvey’s High Court Pub, two doors south from Granny’s has new owners: Jason & Bridget Harvey. It’s Jason’s birthday on St. Patty’s Day. They are celebrating with lots of great Irish food and drink specials! Stop by and welcome our new neighbors!

Happy New Year! It’s me…Oakley! I know it’s been quite awhile since I’ve wrote anything, however I’m back! We kind of had this crazy thing happen at Granny’s! We were robbed in September! We’re doing okay, yes it was scary but the main thing is Mom and me are alright! We really don’t talk about it much, we want to focus on a new year and all the fun things we have planned!
