Easter @ Granny’s

Are you Hopping into Granny’s to get all your treats to fill your Easter baskets? I’m not really interested in all those kind of treats as I know I will get a tummy ache from eating that human food! I hope my mom fills my Easter basket with lots of doggy treats.

If you need something for your Easter dinner, Granny’s has lots of wonderful Rose’s and Pinot Noir’s that would go great with your ham or prime rib. Or if you’re having brunch how about Mimosa’s or having a Bloody Mary bar to add a little spice to your table?

My mom has a great assortment of wine, liquor, and beer. Stop on by and check out all the new items that are coming in weekly. I am sure you will find something you’ll enjoy!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day

Are you Irish? Well, I’m not, however my mom is. It originates from her mom’s side of the family. Her mother’s maiden name was Moran-very Irish. So, I am going to pretend I’m Irish and dance like a Leprechaun all week long! Come into Granny’s and see me if you don’t believe me!!😅

Along with that, Granny’s has so many great Irish beers, whiskeys, and liqueurs! SXSE Brewery from Pine Island, MN just released their Craig Irish Red-so yummy. Left Hand Brewery has a Nitro Irish Stout, you need to give it a try! If beer isn’t your gig, we have lots of Irish Whiskey’s. The favorite at Granny’s is Shanky’s Whip. It is a smooth black Irish whiskey with notes of caramel and vanilla, Great sipper! Another favorite is 2 Gingers Irish whiskey-so tasty! How about a liqueur, we have many wonderful sippers or add them to your coffee for a fun twist!

Harvey’s High Court Pub, two doors south from Granny’s has new owners: Jason & Bridget Harvey. It’s Jason’s birthday on St. Patty’s Day. They are celebrating with lots of great Irish food and drink specials! Stop by and welcome our new neighbors!

Happy Valentine’s Day

Happy Valentine’s Day!! Do you need a last-minute gift? Visit Granny’s and pick up a treat for your Sweetie!

My mom has a large selection of wine, liqueur, beer and even wine accessories! We surely have something for everyone. You know my mom is a florist so don’t be surprised if you receive an added special gift. ❤ It’s always fun to receive treats, I especially like mine in a dog’s version!

I hope you’re enjoying this great weather, puts us all in the mood for Spring. I’m loving the mud puddles, even though mom doesn’t like my messy paws!

A New 2023

Happy New Year! It’s me…Oakley! I know it’s been quite awhile since I’ve wrote anything, however I’m back! We kind of had this crazy thing happen at Granny’s! We were robbed in September! We’re doing okay, yes it was scary but the main thing is Mom and me are alright! We really don’t talk about it much, we want to focus on a new year and all the fun things we have planned!

I know a lot of you do dry January and we applaud you for that. We have you covered at Granny’s with lots of great non-alcoholic choices. Come check it out! If you’re not going dry we have new beverages coming in every week! Also, come check out my new haircut, I look pretty handsome!

Hey it’s me again…Oakley!! 🐾 Can you believe summer is wrapping up and Fall is in the air? My mom has so many new varieties of Oktoberfest beers, that I just don’t which one to try first! She’s also getting in some fun fall sippin’ whiskeys and liqueurs! I can promise you will never be disappointed with the selection at Granny’s! Buffalo Bill Days!!

Hey, can you believe it’s Buffalo Bill Days this weekend? Summer is flying by! Granny’s is getting ready for a fun, fun weekend! Mom and her team have a store full of treats!! We’re sampling this Ready to Drink Blue Ice Huckleberry Vodka Lemonade this Saturday from 12 to 3pm! It’s amazing! I’m hoping to lick some of the sample cups, that don’t make it into the garbage! If I’m quick enough I get away with this! The whole crew is in the parade on Sunday at 1:30pm. Granny’s will be following the Grand Marshall’s which by the way is my mom and dad! How sweet is this? We’ll be handing out fun treats so be sure to grab your lawn chair and join us at the parade! Yahoo to the 38th Annual Buffalo Bill Days!!

Summer Vibes

It’s Summer Time! It’s been a beautiful warm one at that! I just got myself a hair cut and boy oh boy do I look great! I’m even sassier than I was before! Now that it’s summer you should see the new stuff we’re getting in at Granny’s! They keep coming out with these Ready to Drink cocktails that are so tasty. Crown Royal has four flavors. Nutrl, vodka cocktail seltzers in Lemonade and mixed fruit flavors. Bulleit just came out with Manhattan and Old-Fashioned Cocktails that are really good! Lots of new summer brews as well! Lanesboro is just buzzing so if you haven’t been in town lately you need too. Take a trip down the Root River or on the bike trail! Oh, and of course stop in at Granny’s and see me! Happy Father’s Day

Hey I’m back, it’s been a while since I wrote anything! Did you miss me? Ruff, Ruff! Father’s Day is this Sunday! Let me tell you about my dad! He’s just the best, he takes me for gator rides, lets me run around the farm and always shares his meals with me! Now, mom…… she isn’t quite so generous! She gives me treats but not much table food, she thinks I need to watch my boyish figure! Huh, that’s what she thinks!!😀 So, if you’re looking for a gift for dad, we have lots of ideas! We have a great selection of bourbon, whiskey, tequila, brandy and vodka. Our beer cave is stocked full of delicious craft beers and of course lots of domestic beer. Our humidor is filled with tasty treats as well! So that’s what we have going on at Granny’s! Oh, and don’t forget Art in the Park this Saturday from 10 to 5pm! Bring dad he’ll have a great time! Busy May Days

May has been an exciting time at Granny’s!! We held our first Sippin’ with Granny’s event on Cinco de Mayo, May 5th! I was told it was a great Success! Mom served great food from Another Time Ice Cream, High Court Pub and Junipers, but since I’m such a beggar Mom wouldn’t let me come! Pout Pout! There was live music and lots of vendors sampling delicious beverages! I got to lick the floor the next day and even the leftovers were good! The event raised lots of money that will be donated to the Fillmore County Food Shelf! How sweet is that!!

Two days later on May 7th was our Golden Anniversary- 7 years of business! That’s how old I’ll be in July! A lot of good things happened seven years ago! SXSE Brewery and Sylvan Brewery were here tasting and Tessa from Revival House Massage was giving neck and head massages! How cool was that! I get my head rubbed daily so it was no big deal to me! 😏 Customers loved all the fun! My crazy mom and Olivia dressed up like the “Golden Girls”, get it.. Golden Anniversary! Duh!

And to top it all off, Olivia had her baby Emersyn Nicole on May 14th! She’s such a sweet little girl. I get to lick her face and she likes it!! Congratulations to Olivia and Matt!
